Acrylic tops are ideal for those with allergies to wool or those seeking a sustainable alternative to wool.  Our acrylic tops acts just like your favourite woolly fibres and is suited for needle felting, spinning and a whole range of other crafts.

Sold by the kilogram (2.2 pounds). If you’re looking for arm knitting yarn – this would be a great fit. In each kilogram ball, there’s approximately 52 meters.

As a rule of thumb:
1 kg = A Cowl or Scarf
2 kg = 30×50 inch Blanket – Great for a lap blanket.
3 kg = 48×48 inch Blanket – Standard throw size
4 kg = 58×58 inch Blanket – This would fit the width of a Double bed nicely.

About our Fibres:
All of our fibres are brought in mainly from the United Kingdom, although we do source from around the world as well. Our merino wool is sourced from non-mulesed sheep only, and many of our other base wools are from certified UK farms. We know our fibres are sourced from loved and cared for sheep, as animals that are cared for poorly have the worst fibre quality. Our fibres are top notch, as we are spinners, weavers and felters, and we want to work with beautiful fibres that won’t bleed, crock, fade or break, and we take the utmost care to ensure that you love our fibres as much as we do.
